Their favorite part of the game is that they get to pick their own pets. My four year old will play the game more than my six year old. In the game, you play games in order to earn Doggie Dollars. You can use the Dollars to buy them clothes and accessories. Children have to solve math problems in order to get through the Show section of the game. When you synchronize your Leapster Explorer with your computer, it will send the parents an e-mail message with the child's total game time and report card - what skills they are learning using the games that you have. The game now arrives in a cardboard box, there is no longer a plastic case for each individual cartridge. You may want to consider buying the soft bag that goes along with the Leapster to store all your games so they do not get lost. The cartridges are small, and are easily misplaced. She is able to play it as long as she keeps the patch on and the challenge has been to find something she actually wants to play for long enough that she will keep the patch on. She loves this game as it is not only educational but, fun too. She is 7 years old and usually is not one to stay focused for long, but for some reason she can't seem to get enough of this particular game. |
